The difficulty level will be somewhat similar to the JEE Main for Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and the difficulty level for Biology will be comparative to NEET. MHT CET 2025 Exam Pattern
The question paper will be set on the whole syllabus of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics subjects of class 11 & 12.
Each of the three sections is of 90 minutes (1 hour 30 minutes). According to the official website, 80% of the weightage will be given to the Class XII syllabus while 20% of the weightage will be given to the Class XI curriculum in the MHT CET exam.
Although there is no negative marking in MHT CET, the difficulty level of the exam would be at par with JEE Main and NEET UG for PCM and PCB respectively. The questions will typically be application-based.
The pattern is clearly described in the table given below, which are as follows –

Duration of the test for PCM is 180 minutes and PCB is 180 minutes. The candidate should appear the following test in the below prescribed manner –
- For PCM – This paper is having 2 Groups of Physics-Chemistry and Mathematics with total 180 minutes duration; for first 90 minutes, Physics and Chemistry will be enabled and after completion of first 90 minutes time, Physics-Chemistry group will be auto submitted and Mathematics group will be enabled with 90 minutes’ duration.
- For PCB – This paper is having 2 Groups of Physics-Chemistry and Biology with total 180 Minutes Duration, first 90 minutes Physics and chemistry will be enabled and only after completion of time response for Physics-Chemistry group will be auto submitted and Biology group will be enabled with 90 minutes’ duration.
